Building
work in the top classroom started just over a week ago,
with stripping out the floorboards & radiators, and
laying new insulation for heat retention and increased sound
proofing.
The
building development group had arranged for a couple of
quotes for the main building work, and Dom Renovations won
the contract. The polish builders are cracking on and we
hope to have the main building work complete in a couple
of weeks. Then the work will cease while we wait for Listed
Building Consent, relating to the proposed roof light.
Once
the builders have finished, hopefully by the end of September,
we will need to paint, lay carpets, and furnish the two
rooms to make them ready for use from October. Painters
needed!
