This course is designed to give you a good introduction to Christian Counselling and prepare you for the certificate course.  However, it can also bring benefits to you personally, giving you a greater insight into what it means to be human and who God made you to be.  It is designed to work round your week, as we meet over 3 weekends and home assignments with good time to complete.

- Experience different ways of praying (stillness, silent waiting, praying with scripture, imaginative contemplation and prayer of review).
- Explore aids to prayer and reflection including journaling, artwork, body awareness, music and use of images.
- Develop and deepen awareness of different perceptions of God and self.
- Discover a way of making prayerful choices.

The Growth in Prayer and reflective living course begins again this October and ends shortly after Easter. It is facilitated by the Epiphany Group who helped with our Advent Retreat in Daily Life last year. Sessions are held on Tuesday evenings 7.30 – 9.30pm at Christchurch Centre, 6a Morningside Road.
