Art Exhibition Preview

On Wednesday evening around 100 people attended the preview evening of the Art Exhibition. Anne Dodds and her team served wine and canapés as people mingled listening to live music, perusing the art and craft tables, and chatting to the artists. The main hall has been transformed into a great space to view art and the artists and craft & jewellery makers have come up trumps with some great quality pieces. One person commented how unlike a church event it was - they were expecting something more like a jumble sale! Several pieces or art and jewellery were sold during the evening, raising money for the building renovation project and the Africa Fund.

Over the weekend, the exhibition will be open from 12- 5pm
(Sat & Sun) with the heavenly cake café serving drinks and food at the same time. There are several workshops over the weekend, including floristry, hip hop, and poetry.
