Chris Hall
Chris Hall is part of the Community of Leaders, and is involved in many areas of CCE, including overseeing the small groups and welcome with Rupert Ward, the worship and pastoral areas of the church, and you will often see him moving around folk on a Sunday, putting an arm around or praying for them. He says:
I came to Edinburgh as an undergraduate student in 1978 and became a part of this church a year later, where I met my wife to be Ann while playing in the band. We currently live in Haddington and have 3 almost grown up children. We both work in local authorities, Ann as a maths teacher and I as an architect.
I love to hear God speak through the Bible and I love to know God near as we gather to worship him. I love to hear of God at work among all the nations and I like to imagine a world under the rule of God’s messiah.
Sometimes we get to travel to some of these nations, recently to Uganda, Poland and Slovakia and to share together across cultures and traditions with brothers and sisters in God’s family.
I also like computers, finances, family, graphics, the Waltons, the tops of Munros, making music, being with people young and old, and good administration, but not necessarily exactly in that order.
