Neil Duguid

Neil runs the Money Clinic, a budget coaching service that is part of CCE.  We affectionately like to think of Neil as a member of staff, due the regular time he gives to running the money clinic and the other ways he gets involved in the life of CCE; actually he took early retirement from BP, which means he is self-funding.  This is what he says about himself:

I was born in Edinburgh, and lived back here since 1982.  I settled at CCE in 1998, but worked abroad from 2000-2007 in Uganda, central and south Asia and China.  I returned here in Dec 2007 to set up the Money Clinic project, which provides one-to-one budget coaching, especially to clients of other voluntary sector organisations in Edinburgh.  We have run training for Citizens Advice money advice workers.  I have two daughters and a couple of grandchildren who live down in the south of England which makes me an expert on the UK train ticketing system (try me).
