Rupert Ward
Rupert is part of the leadership staff working full-time for CCE, with his finger in many pies: preaching on Sunday, facilitating meetings, training, student work, mentoring others, finances, and more recently mediation and peace-making. He writes:
I moved to Edinburgh to study in 1989 to study at University (first maths, but later ended up with a theology degree) and have never left! I am married to Pippa, and have three children: Toby, Caspar and Jemimah.
In CCE you will find me often talking with people, helping them in their journey of faith; preaching on a Sunday; training in seminars or training courses; facilitating meetings and large groups or trying to inspire others towards a transformed life of following the way of Jesus. More recently I have began leading one-day training seminars on peace-making with a friend and are offering consultancy and group-reconciliation to churches in Scotland.
On time off I love cooking (and eating) most foods, but especially curry, playing squash and watching most sports, reading, and many other things besides…
I also blog occasionally – very occasionally!
