Barriers block relationship. Denominational or emotional, outwith the church or within, God is motivating us to restore relationships by living more radically than ever before.

Scotland is a nation scarred by denominational divides and at Community Church Edinburgh we're learning what unity means and are committed to walking out Christ's desire for such unity. And we also want to see love flowing freely within our midst.

We are active members of the Newington Churches Council where Colin Symes, Barrie Walker and Iain Archibald represent us. The council works to create unity across the churches in our area and to help us enjoy more of the diversity of the Body.

Through our work in Slovakia, we're learning how God's Spirit can remove the barriers thrown up by centuries of mistrust and misunderstanding. Protestant teaches Catholic and Catholic, Protestant while our Father teaches us all that no denomination is an island.
