Finance Team
Andrew Hook, the church finance man, works two days a week for the church, and part of his responsibilities are day to day oversight of the church finances. He is supported by Lotenna Okeke, who works one day a week for the church.
The Finance Team have oversight of the finances within the church, and generally meet together once a quarter to review finances. Members of the finance team are: Andrew Hook, Rupert Ward, Ashleigh Dunn, and Felicity Hollands. We have a balance to staff & leaders, and others who work in other sectors, who bring their experience from their professional lives to the finance team. This bring balance and perspective to the team, as we seek to make Godly decisions about the use of the money given to the church.
Once a year, we have a finance presentation to the whole church, where we present last years figures, and the budget for the following year. We are aware for some people this isn’t their cup of tea, but we do want to be open and transparent with the money. We also endeavour to give updates of our financial situation during the year.
