Echo

Echo is an emerging missional community of about 25 people, who are exploring what church might look for a new generation.
So often, we have meetings to worship and learn, and then try to form community. Echo have turned this around, and are forming community, that occasionally meets together to worship, pray and learn together. But the meetings are not the focus, but sharing our lives together, eating together, and hanging out with each other and with our friends who aren’t Christians. However, we also wanting to spur each other on in following Christ together and want to participate in God’s mission, so we are much more than having meals and coffee together! We are looking to become increasingly dependent on God as we live radically for Christ.
Some of the people in echo are actively exploring living in a community house together, and in proximity with other members of echo. We are exploring ways of living visibly in our communities, living our faith and sharing our lives with those who aren’t “faith people”.
Echo is led by a team of people: Colin and Kathryn Hewitt, Joy Lyth, Malcolm and Lucy Calvert and Rupert Ward.
