Sundays

We gather together on Sunday mornings for worship, prayer, Bible teaching and reflection, and fellowship (often we are closing the church building an hour or so after the ‘formal’ part of the morning has finished, as groups of people wander off to have lunch together!).
Not that we are very formal in anything we do. On any given Sunday you will find children drawing or dancing in the worship, people standing or sitting as they feel moved, modern songs with some occasional ancient hymns or liturgy, some moments of high praise or quiet silence, times of laughter or provocation, space to listen to someone teach from the scriptures or to think how it might apply to our lives.
Our time together starts at 10.30am and we aim to finish at 12.30pm. Although there are Sundays when we do different things, in general you can expect 30-40 minutes of sung worship, some news of what is happening in our community, a sermon of around 30-35 minutes, and some time to reflect, respond, & prayer ministry at the end of the gathering. We tend to celebrate communion (bread and wine) once a month, and baptise adults or dedicate babies several times a year.
All our Sunday gatherings are at the King’s Hall.
