Relational

Being relational is something we value in all that we do. People are not objects to get the job done, but human beings made in the image of God and made for relationship. Everyone does have something to contribute.
So whether it is serving in the church, being part of a “community project” or a team, going overseas, preaching, or leading a cell group, we value relationship over gifting. We like to get to know you a bit, and you us, before you do lots of stuff. The mission work we do is relational, building where we have met people, and a relationship is formed. So we have been visiting some of the same churches in Africa, Eastern Europe and France for many years. They are our friends.
We also value relationship in local mission. Not many people like being pounced on by someone in the street, or have someone knocking on their door, but most of us like having friends!
Conversation, hanging out, going for a beer, or having people round for a meal is high on our agenda!
